I've had ten Jaguar's, I've only been driving since 2006. My first car was a 2001 XJR 4.0
Currently I only have one Jaguar, and it is this 2006 Jaguar XJ8 4.2
It is the most reliable Jaguar I have ever owned, I love it and I hope I never have to sell it.

That's a nice car.
My problem is I could find a very good reason to buy most Jags that come on to the market.

well said. I think I suffer from a similar disease. I've only been driving five years, but have had 10 Jaguar's.

Can I suggest jouning the XK8R Club www.xkec.co.uk

They have some members cars in their for sale page

Tend to find Club Members cars are well looked after

Also good advice in the Members Forum

Hi all

You'll love this? Just traded in my TVR Cerbera (totally reliable for last three years by the way) for an S-Type R.

To say it is different is an understatement!

On the way to Tony Gilbert Cars (TVR Specialist) I had that TVR grin all the way there, and on the way home I could have fallen asleep! smilesmile

Always wanted a Jaguar and now I have my favourite model of the last few.
Probably my age, but I still love that S-Type styling.

Nice I take it the grin is the gritted teeth you need to stop breaking your jaw going over bumps.
The S type is a fabulous car and the type R is especially nice lets have some photos.

smile!!

No actually I had the shocks set for comfort, a bit soft for really pushing it, but still "Sports Car" setting.
The grin with a TVR is all about the "Event" of driving such a raw powerful machine.

I'll miss the 413BHP 0-60 3.9secs, but time for something different (before than all get banned?) however still with that little bit extra.

Is there a PH Jag owners register??
I'll post up some photos tomorrow.

Oh and my insurance said changing to the R means I get a refund! laugh

Welcome to the club .They are addictive these things and despite what a lot of people say (who have never had one) are great to drive and bring a smile to your face every time you get to take it out.
Glad to see you have gone for the V12.
