Hi all,

I write for the Jaguar Enthusiasts magazine as the co ordinator for the XJ Series 1/2/3.
I am after some help!
A few readers are looking for information on bodykits that made for these cars.
Arden, Cabriolet international etc.
Does anyone have any pictures, sales sheets - or even cars??!!
Any info that could be used as part of a feature would be greatly recieved.

All the best,
Keith

By bodykit do you mean Max Powah Stylee type stuff or pattern body parts?

Fibresports still have the old racing arches and spoiler listed on their website, a mate of mine knows the owner and said he never throws anuy moulds away but they did have a fire earlier this year and lost a lot of stock, so who knows if they can still make them, he did put out a call for help for anyone who had old kits to bring them in so he could remake some of the older moulds.

Hi guys,

Trying to keep away from the Halfords stuff :-)
Companies like Arden and Carbriolet International were offering full on conversions. These are what we are really look for.
Fibresports are down on the south coast here and supplied for Broadspeed. Mike Wilkinson has also got copies of the original moulds as he knwo owns race car no 3 (I am sure it is no.3!).

Cheers,
Keith

We are the official Arden partner in the UK. If you would like to get in touch and let us know what info you would like I am sure we can put something together.

Either give us a call on 01264 333523 or email on info@designxkr.co.uk

There are some Arden modified cars on the site 1000sel.com. The site has many 80s creations, generally of German marques; some of them wonderful and some well... distinctive!!

first

the bodykit for the broadspeed xj coupe is safe
someone i know has offered a set to fibresports to make new molds off
so in the near future they will be able to make new kits

second
wilkinson does not own the original car
he rebuild the 001 car
and it is raced and owned by chris scragg
the 003 car you mention is owned by the jaguar daimler heritage trust

Hi,
I am after identifying the make of this bodykit with the idea of tracking one down for a build I want to do. I have come across similar versions, but not this exact one. Can anyone help identify this kit, or even better, when I can get hold of a new or secondhand one?!
Thanks.

We've now managed to find someone with the full 7 piece original XJ broadspeed kit. Feel free to message me if you're interested or know someone who is.
