I'm in the process of buying this lovely S8:

I'm having a Miltek exhaust fitted, and also want to improve the standard suspension which I found on the test drive loses a bit of body control at higher speeds.

I am long standing fan on KW suspension kits (i use them on my GT3), and have confirmed that KW produce a variant 2 kit for the car.

A couple of questions for the cognoscenti please:

1. Which Audi specialist would you recommend to fit the KW kit in the South East (Surrey, Sussex)? I would also want them to be able to do a full four wheel alignment / set up.

2. Other than KW, are there any other kits I should be looking at? The goal is to have better damping control for high speed motoring, with ideally the ride quality still remaining fairly good.

Cheers

QST are reputed to be decent VAG Specialists.

Without sounding rude can I ask why that particular S8? I realise it has 35k but there are ones with 60k for less than half the price.

Thanks for the replies.

I've bought three cars now from 4 Star and all have been good buys, and this car appears to be very sound mechanically and cosmetically (just had an inspection report to that effect).

I'm not paying the advertised price because it does need a cambelt change (being done now) and a major service. 4 Star are also dealing with a couple of other matters (like a new battery) on their dime.

Once I've got the car I'll also refurb all the wheels as they are currently ok but not excellent.

Cheers
