TT Mk1 MPG?

Can any kind folks give me some real world mpg numbers for the 1.8T, most likely 225 but possibly 180, definitely Quattro.

Taking it easy on a run you'll get mid 30s. Give it the beans and you'll see around 30.

This was my experience with my 8L S3. My overall average over 10k was 33 mpg, this was a 58 mile commute each way.

From experiance, you should scrape 40mpg on a run and sweet FA when beating the hell out of it. 50l of v-power used to last me 200 miles in my 20vt ibiza and that wasnt lugging round haldex.

7 years of 225 ownership. I reckon I got around 30 out of it. Mostly to work and back which has a real mixture of driving - 1/3 m'way, 1/3rd back roads, 1/3 town

I owned my 225 coupe or 3 years. Drove It hard for most of it and got 30mpg.

It was a fab car... Steering a bit wolly but hey it's not suppose to be a track car. It's plenty capable on the roads.
