I wonder if someone can give me some advice, I'm just going drag my 1995 Audi A4 out the garage and its been sitting for 6 months and noticed that the power steering fluid was on the minimum and ordered some more from GSF.

The problem being when it arrived I had been sent the wrong fluid so I didn't use it luckily before it was too late.

There is no dealership within close proximity and I noticed this on the Halfords website.
Halfords | Halfords Central Hydraulic Fluid (CHF) 1L
also I see I can buy it through amazon as comma CHF 11 and that would be easier as its just a press of a couple of buttons on the computer.

My neighbour has a trade card for Halfords so I will get a bit knocked off and both my A4 and My 1993 80 Cabriolet need a slight top up and both cars need green mineral fluid to G002000 spec and I'm not sure but I think CHF 11s is to that spec.

Could someone with a bit of knowledge tell me if this is the stuff as I don't want to damage the power steering racks on both cars .

Also on my A4 the fluid is looking a little dirty and seeing I only have the cars original jack I don't wish to get under the car on a slope so I was thinking about doing the turkey baster method of removal,
Has anyone else done this and do I have to worry about air locks.
