Got a very early start tomorrow empty roads 4am wink.

Hope I don't wake the neighbours but once up to temp I'll be having smiles per mile.

Not driven it in half a week now just want to get back in the drivers seat enjoy the noise the power the occasion.
Its going to be very cold too = free extra power for turbo cars which will be very noticable.

Just to remind everyone that these don't all explode, spit out their cogs, or collapse on their limbs. Mine has been impeccable in all three regards.

Still waiting for these Misano + pics Digger wink a rare beast indeed! If I'd have known you were considering selling before I'd bought mine I'd have been really interested.

Love it, has that first pic been modified or is it a wrap? Either way it looks mega!

RS246 You gotta love snow tyres

The mirrors are the original brushed aluminium, wrapped with silk black to match the optics.

Could a few owners take some pics of their Ariel (Avants only please)

I'm not sure if it should be a long aerial like the usual VAG or short stubby ones like earlier pics in this thread. All I know is mine doesn't look right and what's left the rubber has seen much better days

To be honest I don't know, the previous owner has upgraded the whole MMI system in the car so I don't know if he had to change the aerial also, I don't think its aftermarket though.

This was my previous RS6

You can see it has the same base but the aerial is much longer. I'm not sure if the previous ower of my current one just changed it for a stubby one.

Actually is upgrading the MMI really pricy and a difficult job to do?

RNSE is expensive but no eye wateringly so.

I'm not sure if the latest 3G version can be fitted to a C5.

See here for 'fitted' prices with proper source and warranty but there are lots of very cheap units on ebay.

I am looking at a 2013 RS6 and trading in my M5 estate - I was wanting to look at the 5.0 version but the garage sold it before I got there and they have a nice grey one on 13 plates

Im tempted just for the hell of it, but these comments are concerns, but with anything you buy in life you take a chance

Don't be concerned, you're considering a totally different proposition to the car being discussed here.

Anyone on here? Pulled out of a small lane very near to me yesterday morning, but I haven't seen this car around Chippenham before.

So my warranty ends 27/12.

Anyway £280 warranty and it lists everything which is covered.

Gearbox auto with every single part included.

Am I right to assume it would be utter madness not to extend the warranty or that actually the warranty isn't worth the paper its written on?
