The old V10 Rs6 is a good car, no doubt. The biturbo I drove and have ordered has air suspension. You are right, the Rs6 is a LOT quicker than the biturbo, my 1% was the fact that that in my opinion that was ALL the RS6 has over a biturbo.
As for round at track IMO , not worth worrying about, they'll both be rubbish.
It looks like for once on PH we are all in violent agreement wink

The bi-turbo is a great car, it will be an interesting trip to LeMans this year with both my mates bi-turbo and my RS6 loaded with lads(well old men) and kit, I suspect I may be stopping for fuel at least twice as often!

Until the AMG Merces 4wD models hit the UK showrooms in RHD format or until BMW M make 4wD models of the M5/M6/M3, the RS6 is still the fastest thing all year around.

Not sure they are worth THAT much though, given that an S-line A6 can can be made to look like the RS6 model pretty much.

The C6 V10 model was and still is a monster. An AMG or M5 wouldn't see which way it went when the rain or snow came out.

I was recently haggling over discounts on the new rs6 and got to 10.5k off plus another 2.5k contribution if I took their finance. Then the salesman moved to merc.

The amount of discount actually scared me about residuals

I've had an RS6 demo for a couple of days now whilst the brakes on my 13 RS4 are fixed
It's certainly a very fast car, but it's no sharp tool. However, if you're looking for a comfortable mile muncher that will out drag pretty much anything else below a 911 turbo or GTR, then this car is perfect for exactly that

It's Blimmin huge though and makes parking a nightmare as every spot becomes 'very tight'

The demo I have has the standard exhaust and it needs more volume, certainly

10.5k off ? From what's been said on here that is exceptional as dealers normally seem to be offering 4-5k off.
A friend got 9k off but that was friends and family discount because he's a huge Audi customer ,and brokers were offering9k off but now it's about 7k .

Have a look at amgs if you want scary discounts .

My view is very limited indeed (i have just joined Audi after 3 years with BMW)

So far i have had a good few drives in the bi-turbo diesel albeit in A7 format and also the RS6.

I wasnt blown away by the diesel however the RS6 felt great and imo didnt feel like a big car at all.

I shall report further when i spend more time in the range.

My local dealer is not offering anything on RS6 at the moment, would be interested to know where you got that sort of discount Jon.

I was offered £4.5K off by both Audi Southwest (where my Biturbo came from) and the same from Guildford Audi - both last week, but given a small level of spec the car is around £85K, but around 5% isn't enough in my view

Just chopped in my 07 3.0TDi Allroad for a May 13 RS6 with lots of toys. Just love it! It's basically a practical limo. A different league from the Allroad in quality and finish, as it should be for the price, but the engine is just incredible. Massively capable car and corners like a limpet. The odd thing is there's virtually no feedback from the steering. And I do mean none. This is fine for what I want, a fast A to B car, but worth bearing in mind if you want more.

They keep going up and down. Their system automatically enters the last discount they obtained

Just traded in the M5 Tourer for a Audi 4.0 RS6 Avant, been out in the Sagaris today though had a lovely drive around Corbridge Hexham area

I collect Audi in January so belated xmas box to me when I return from overseas

Do you mind if I ask whether you got anything reasonable off the Audi - I seem to be embroiled in a lengthy discussion with the Guildford Audi dealer regarding their (in my view) rather measely attitude towards any meaningful kind of discount on either a pre-registered car they have or ordering a new one for delivery during Q2 next year - with a p/x of my BiTurbo, for which they only really want to give me book value!

Yes I am hoping I enjoy the RS6 everyone who knows I have bought says its a fun car. So will be hard to decide which to drive in the morning next month the TVR Sagaris or the Audi RS6 - or I could drive one and then the next when I bring the other back, or alternate days
