Swung, I suppose I just liked and thought what the hell, I can sell on if I don't want it for too long, it drove well - I like to have a estate with a bit of power and Prowse - my Sagaris gives the thrills, this will as well, first Audi I have had ever, so hope its good
what discount did you get ? best direct from an audi dealer Ive got at moment is 5k but thats using their finance ,4k without.Merc are offering me 13k off a new cls 63 wagon .geordieexpat said:
Discount was around the 5K mark maybe more as its a demo, if price was over £80 new then I have a bigger discount, but ive bought now, pick up later this month - so I will enjoy.
I never got change to look at the 63 merc, but suppose I can always just look
list is 76k , through dealers getting 4-5k max discount on built to order,7.5k off with broadspeed.Got offered 15k off a new cls amg wagon but I think the rs6 is a better bet .I never got change to look at the 63 merc, but suppose I can always just look
Enjoy it anyway ,and watch your licence ..easy to lose in one of those !!!

Id highly suggest getting a radar detection/jamming system in the RS6 its SO easy to be heavily in prison territory if you're not careful, and we dont want that I never got change to look at the 63 merc, but suppose I can always just look
Have fun with the RS6, safe in the prospect an M5 wont get near it in anything but perfect conditions!
I thought I'd add a comment at the end of this. First Geordie expat, I hope you are enjoying your RS6, they are great cars. I did bang on a bit about how great the bi-turbo diesel was earlier in the thread, so good in fact I put my money where my moth was and bought one. I really enjoyed the car for about 6 months, but the nagging desire to have another go in an RS6 could keep me away from one. So I saw a tidy second hand one at a dealers,, I just thought I'd take a look, you know how it is . Anyway, quick test drive later and a rather attractive deal saw me picking up the keys to a 12 month old RS6.
I haven't looked back. It is awesome, I love it. It is actually so much more than the biturbo. The more I drive it, the more I love it. It is just so useable. So I'll put my hands up and say I was wrong.

Takes a brave man to admit he was wrong
I've had an RS6 and a current R8V10+ to try for the last week as I've put a deposit in on the new R8 for later this year
However, it's the RS6 that's left me most impressed after 500miles of 'living with it' - I also did 800ish miles in the R8 just to get a good comparison
The original plan was to keep my RS4 and have the R8 as a Sunday toy, but having been smitten with the RS6, I'm now reconsidering my options
I'd driven one before, but not really for long enough to really get to grips with it, but after the week's loan, I'm shocked at just how good it really is and just how fast it is
In a straight line, there's very little in it between the two cars ;

Well it looks like it didn't do you any harm, where did it go wrong for me?
There is still time to change, you can do whatever you want if you set your mind to it! However it does pay to have helping hands and options on the way.Education isn't everything (although I am in my final year at university), although it does help. You can still do amazingly without any qualifications (there will be plenty of wealthy members on here in that position).
Also everyones life is different, everyone has a different story or challenges. Cars and houses are just the fruits of hard graft and thats all that most will see - not what it took to get them there!
Don't give up hope mate!
PS That R8 Looks great, don't think the RS6 looks overly great in that spec but thats my personal opinion - good choice on the new R8 and an RS6 you won't regret it - Id sell the rs4 soon anyway as they will be changing the a4/a5 cars (last to be replaced)
