I saw a my first other R on the road yesterday abt 6pm in Gainsborough, the guy was driving with his missus in the passenger. I think we both spotted the "first other R on the road".
Anyway - im putting this to see if the guy in the Red R who was in Gainsborough last night at 6pm frequents here??

On a plus - all those getting a theirs in red, are in for a treat - it looked awesome in red, maybe better than my lapiz..but its close, he had 18"'s and i've got prets.

The initial orders with Phil are on track, buy that i mean orders confirmed around June/July 1st week. They are all on schedule for around Week 36-Week 38 completion no changes. It was only after this that orders have been given these delay notifications. I hope it gets resolved soon for all concerned

My cancelled order seems to be racing through. This morning it hit stage 6 of 7 so should be in the dealership for some lucky punter in about a week. Have no idea if they've managed to sell it already but happy to pass on their details if anyone likes the spec and doesn't want the wait.

Mine too, now on 5B and will be at dealers in 3 weeks apparantly. Slowly making progress in getting a decent price so fingers crossed, we'll actually get the car. Not sure whether to go for 2 or 3 years, figures are fairly similar (now have some PCP options).

Hmmm...

Couple quid cheaper if anything, by what I got a couple of weeks ago wink
Lease Plan quote was £9600. Phil seems to have 3 door, DSG with metallic for £9100. 6-7K miles. Not much in it.

Really? If you don't mind me asking, did you speak to Phil? I rang him at lunchtime and was told that the system will update today and he'd know by Monday? My order was sent through to him on the 2nd of July!

I have been quoted on a PCH today for A Golf R DSG 3 door, no options bar metallic paint.
Initial Payment of £1260.42 inc VAT
23 Monthly Payments of £420.14 inc VAT
10,000 miles pa.

Just wondered how this sounded to the experts on here?

+1 on the sounds expensive - try to increase the initial payment to bring the monthly down a bit, or find another lease deal lol.

I'm also on PCH and my deal is (all prices inc vat)

5 door DSG with no options in red (solid paint), fully maintained and 7000 miles a year

£1770 initial
23x £295

Hi guys

Have been following this thread for a while; noticed the following offer https://www.vehiclesavers.com/car-leasing/volkswag...

Works out at £7458 for 24 months lease with no options.

I have Specced Lapis Blue and the Dynaudio pack which brings the cost to £8370.

What do you guys think?

Cheers
Jason.

Unless thing have changed you cannot spec Dynaudio on the R.. That deal looks ok but be aware that the excess mileage fee will probably be a lot higher than the 7.2p per mile most on here are paying. Also I believe that even though it's a personnel lease quoted you will need a letter from work stating you can claim motor mileage allowance or similar.

I couldn't actually find the excess mileage fee so you may well be right!

I don't have a mileage allowance, do you think this would be a problem?

Give them a call but I'm pretty sure they need some sort of letter showing you get company mileage if you use the car for work.

Could anyone confirm where the best 'accessible' deal is right now?
