Possible stupid question, but is this definitely for the new R, and not the outgoing R?

Production ceased on European/UK mk6 r's autumn 2012, so it will definitely be a mk7.

£260 a month and £2300 deposit for a brand new Golf R. That's an insane deal. Way better than the M135i deals!

Sorry if I've asked this before but what is the best deal for a DSG with Nav?

I'm looking long term on a Golf R at the moment, possibly 5 years and am in the fortunate position to by out right, so would probably work out better for me, but wanted to ask, do these quotes of £2,000 deposit mean that money is lost at the end of the contract deal, i.e. 24 months? So £300/month and £2k down so actually £383/month on 24 month arrangement?

sadly, yes.

nothing is able to e had back on a PCH whereas in a PCP you may end up with equity back.

Thanks, still seems a good deal for those that would prefer that route, but I'm looking longer terms.

This seems way too cheap.. Unless it's for a car with 3d, flat colour and 5k per year miles.

I know Blue Chilli do £2k upfront, 2 years, metallic paint but base-spec otherwise, 3dr manual for £270 inc VAT. £190 admin fee. Sales rep there was a complete tool though.

May I just proffer a word of caution when dealing with a "certain"....... "cold spicy" leasing company. If said deals are on offer from elsewhere I`ll be voting with my feet.

I have just been offered the same but with no admin fee - winter pack was £3 month extra and full service option inc tyres another £6 which didnt sound too bad.

BTW he tod me that the prices are being reviewed due to the level of interest!!

Tactic to expedite your decision by implying they will go up:-)

Probably smile. Though when I was ordering my 640 a couple of years ago they told me to hurry up as the deal was under review. It went from £400 a month to £550 2 days later.

Ok I'm in. Just ordered from Gateway 2 Lease, best prices I could find. I've gone for 5 door with metallic paint, 13k pa for £301 on 6+23 profile.
Very happy with that considering base car was £293 on 10k pa.

Beginning of March I'm lead to believe.

I can't see them going up so soon, these lease companies seem to pull out all the classic lines to shift a car. I'm going to move in on one soon, but can't decide on manual or DSG...
