5 door with DSG and metallic for £7230 is a very good price.
Out of interest foes anyone else know what the cooling off period on a dealer PCH deal is, as I signed up with VW in Portsmouth this week. I'm about £7k all in without the DSG so if I could swap to this I would.

It has only become available in the past week or so. Website and brochures probably haven't been updated yet.

This is the deal I got from a local VW dealer - very similar it seems to Naz's. I went for the 5 door manual in Red for £2,400 upfront and £179.99 a month all inclusive of vat.

3 other dealers I contacted said they couldn't do PCH and said PCP worked out cheaper etc but then dealer for below knew all about the offer and was very helpful. I will check with them tomorrow if they happy for me to pass on their details.

VWFS agreement, no payment until after 2 weeks after delivery and if cancelling before delivery then there is £100 fee.

If you want it you'll need to pretty much fork out the cost over the term of the lease. I for one am not prepared to do so. I want a cheap deal.

Back when I was first looking at the R, I really wanted leather. Ultimately, due to cost, I went without and I really don't see the need for it. The seats as they are, are extremely comfortable and I can't imagine that leather (on a lease car anyway) would add much to it. Besides, once I push down on the accelerator I forget about everything else in the car!

Are you sure te dealers are being straight with you and not trying to edge more £s from you? The posts from Naz and Dan were clear that white and metallic were included.
