1 x 2500 / 23 x 173 = 3979

2500 + 3979 = 6479

5 Door - Metalic - RVC - Are you sure? That's ridiculously cheap!

Who's that with if you don't mind me asking?

My original quote was 1500 down and 240 a month including vat

I asked if I could put 2500 down and to keep the monthly payments down and come back with them
Figures and he states including vat

If those figures are correct that is the cheapest deal I've seen! Will be about £500 cheaper than mine with a similar spec!! I would double check the monthly figure is including VAT, hopefully for you it is!

Do you know if that kind of deal is still available? If so I'll be going with that tomorrow!

For those that have ordered - what sort of timescales are you seeing with regards to VW order tracker and build weeks?

Mine (ordered via VW on 24th Oct) can be tracked via the VW order tracker but is still at processing order stage.

Just wondered how long is it before it goes to factory and a build week is confirmed?

Thanks

First post, please be gentle.

Im looking to lease a golf R, I had a PCP quote from VW yesterday it was a 4k deposit and £426 a month over 3 years.

Is lease legal for a personal user? what is the best company to go with?

Thanks guys
Dom

Final figures, including VAT, from our local dealer were:

White
3dr
DSG
10k p/a
£2400 deposit
£242 x 23 payments

Red
3dr
Manual
10k p/a
£2400 deposit
£203 x 23 payments

No mention of the deal ending when the salesman checked his system today, however, I guess that this may be because it's a Sunday and things would only update on Monday? ...time will tell.

Cheers,
Grant

Looks like the current deals finished on Friday. I believe brokers are awaiting new prices on Monday.

It'll probably just be that the price increase took effect as of Saturday. Hopefully the R will still be able to be leased albeit at slightly increased prices.

Ordered June 24
Building week confirmed end of September as Wk44 (26/10/14).
Delivery 4-6 weeks after that.

VW are saying they can get one in a bout 6-8 weeks of doing the deal, when I had a cat with them over the w/e they wanted about £2.5K deposit and it was about £300 for 23m at 10K miles for a fully maintained car.

I'd be extremely surprised if you got hold of a Golf R on PCH within 6-8 weeks when some people are getting quoted over 6 months for delivery... but I suppose it depends on what spec/what the dealer has coming through the pipeline.

Happy to be proved wrong obviously, happy.. and a little jealous, haha. laugh
