Haven't read all of this thread but wondered if anyone on here encountered this scenario:
- Agree an initial payment of £2000 with the broker
- VWFS charge you £2550 initial payment after delivery
- Dealer reimburses £550 of this after delivery
Car in question is a GTD through CVL (Sorry not an R!). I understand its because the dealer is essentially contributing £550 of the deposit, but it seems a strange way of doing things for a lease deal

Is this cause for concern or am i being impatient?
If you ask VWCS they will confirm the build week. Suspect you are around bw14 which would mean delivery in late April/early May. I ordered end of Oct, Still stuck on 'with factory'.

I ordered Oct 27th with BlueChilli Cars. I was told by them I have an unoffical BW 15. I have emailed them a few times but they say there's nothing that can do as they have spoken with dealer (VW Telford) and it#s a case of being patient. When I ordered i was given a rough estimate of 20-22 weeks, the 22nd week will be March 23rd!!!

Who did you order thorugh? I went with BlueChilli Cars and ordered OCt 27th and i'm still waiting.I ordered end of Oct, Still stuck on 'with factory'.

mine'll be going back by the time some of you take delivery..
6 months+ now average wait time?
Ordered in june got delivery in October - That was tough enough, god knows what you lot are going through...
Reminds me ill have to start looking at replacements for the R 8 months before the lease expires.

just curious but i ordered my R through Solent Vehicle leasing, and i have received no paperwork except the initial proposal form which i signed and returned. No terms and condition/finance docs..nothing.... should i have ? Car is stage 7 of 7 on vw order tracker..(SVL never reply to emails either.... they are sh!t)

Hi mate, when I ordered mine I got terms and conditions and finance docs to show me how much it was going to cost and for me to accept the charges. I emailed my leasing firm quite a bit and they always email me back (Blue Chilli Cars).
