Lease on Golf R
Discussion
Sorry, that was a bit vague.
I haven't read all of the pages but assumed that most of these deals were 'business leases'.
The reason I ask is that I spoke to an online leasing company the other day about a car that was advertised as a 'personal contract hire', however after speaking to them, I was told that even though it was advertised as a personal contact lease, I had to meet certain criteria, of which 2 of them are below.
1) I had to be a high level executive or lawyer etc
2) Be able to prove that I could claim mileage through work.
I explained that I wanted as a personal lease not through work but she said that was the deal on that car.
Silly question but is it possible to get a lease car that has nothing to do with work?

This is the same type of contract. Do all personal leases specify the same criteria?

Can I ask what BW you were? I was BW9, car at Emden on 4 March and still on stage 5! I contacted the dealer yesterday to be told there is a huge backlog on this side of the channel meaning nothing is being sent over
I'm in the same boat (or not) as you - was built in week 9 and has sat in Emden sinceDealer said VW are prioritising newer built cars so not to clog the port up even more. I guess it's easier to load the new cars straight onto the ship instead of shuffling them around the port.
