Anyone else who has had an order placed this month had a build week confirmed by the supplying dealer or on the VW "My order" section of the website?
Dealer tells me that mine is indicative for week 21 but nearly 2 weeks have gone by without confirmation.
Mine is 5 dr DSG for info.

I'm resisting the temptation to keep chasing mine - I knew at the start it would be a good number of weeks away, and at least with the VW tracker I've got something to look at! Been there before with new cars, and you just end up getting frustrated with progress - this time I'm trying to be a bit more chilled and adopt a 'it'll arrive when it arrives' attitude. We'll see how long that lasts

Ordered 3rd April........ Just told yesterday afternoon that build is scheduled for mid June, although this could change as build date Not yet confirmed. Unsure why build date not confirmed?????? Also a 5 dr DSG. Delivery would theoretically be mid July I'm told.Dealer tells me that mine is indicative for week 21 but nearly 2 weeks have gone by without confirmation.

I don't think the build week gets confirmed until about a month before its due to be built. I've been told mine is estimated to be at the dealers in June so am hoping I'll get a confirmed build week sometime in May.
Got a text this morning, build week of the 11/05/2014 confirmed!

I'm guessing the factory will bunch together a lot of cars with similar spec? Not sure how it works really, hope you get your confirmed build week soon!

Interesting vid - another question please! As I recall your car is a manual - can you heel n toe it (I thought I heard a small blip at the end of your vid)? Over on Rforum one of the posters claimed he couldn't - nobody else has mentioned it, but I'm not sure anybody cares over there, whereas it's become part of the way I drive now so am curious to hear if you can or not...
