Injector Seal Replacement on 2.0 Golf GT Sport 170bhp 07 Reg

Bought a Golf GT Sport in November and really pleased with it. It's done 125,000 miles and is in really good condition.
Car smokes a lot, more so when cold. Have had it on a diagnostic checker and all appears fine, and the turbo has also been checked. Read on this forum a while ago of someone having a similar issue and some recommended changing injector seals. Someone else put a very informative description on here, how to carry this out. Does anyone know where I can find the information out as I can't find that thread.
I've got the new bolts and seals and am looking at trying to do this tomorrow afternoon.
I understand that there was a recall, late in 2012 involving injector replacement which this car has had that work carried out, so I doubt its an injector problem. I suppose it is possible that the fitter installing the injectors, could have "nicked" a seal.
Fingers crossed I can solve this tomorrow afternoon.
