Have heard all the stories of scuttle shake etc but still think that is the nicest 4seater cab design ever, and with that engine underneath it what's not to like. Very nice mate - always wanted one.

Lovely colour scheme and I think the B6 front end looks so much nicer than the B7. Personally, I'd have to have the Avus wheels.

Funny you picked up on wheels

I think they are factory as I saw a factory list online and it didn't have avus there listed plus it has a 5th spare in this style

I'm pretty sure the Avus were standard and the style you have an option from the factory.

I think that's right
So these were probably an option

I just thought they were b7 s line wheels, until I've noticed a few others having them

Looks very clean and a great colour combination.

They were available as an option, it's from a time when a lot of people switched to S-Line wheels too. At a glance those look like genuine Audi rather than the cheapo replicas.

EDIT: Spec check does say that left the factory with an optional 18" wheel.

Very nice car. Agree that B6 looks better than B7. With mine scuttle shake isn't really noticeable with roof up, and never a intrusive. For the money these days an A4 Cab has to be up there with the best all round cars you can get IMO.

Very nice.

I do love that exterior colour, though in an (my) ideal world, it would be paired with the red leather as I've always liked that combo.

Are you any more in love with it yet? Sure I read a thread a month back that siad you weren't that impressed.

Thanks

Don't get me wrong I do like it
But for me I've already got an easy go quick auto and more modern (aka 535d) so with this so competent in what it does, power, grip, ease of auto and the tiptronic being good too it doesn't quite have that raw edge I think I would like. Its easy to live with and so do I compromise on easibility for something a bit raw like the m3 smile

I'll get t mot and taxed and try the market in a couple of months time

Always said I wouldn't swap for anything less than a DB9.

So time has come to sell DB9 on way.
