Hi,
Long time reader of Pistonheads. Just put down a deposit on this and will collect later in the week after I have (hopefully) sold my old BMW.

Only one former keeper, full Audi service history - needless to say very excited! Test drive went well - it was smooth and powerful and very refined. My first experience of an Audi and I can see the hype around their interiors. This one is full leather, almost completely unmarked and very nice indeed....
Figured it was about time I registered and posted especially as I actually intend to keep this car longer than any of my old ones!
Cheers,
Chris

Rare car in that spec - bet it goes pretty well I've tried an auto version of the same car and was surprised how much nippier it felt than our A6 with the same engine.
I presume you're aware cambelt changes are fairly ruinous on these and it's had one not too long ago? They're due every 5-6 years irrespective of mileage

Picked up this morning and drove 20 minutes to some parking near work.. Will give her a good run out later when I finish...
Easily the nicest cabin I have been in, very quiet and still looks/smells/feels as good as brand new. The V6 is nicely responsive and has a decent noise. All in all looking forward to having a keeper!
First task might be a debadge I think...
Previous cars include a rusty Rover 75, a rusty XJ6, a rusty CLK200 and a scratched up E36 convertible. Needless to say this is the first one that feels like a 'proper' car!
