c7 A6 3.0tdi (245) tuning options

I bought a used A6 a couple of weeks ago and I am keen to look at remapping it. Any thoughts on what works best, without going too mental and making anything too fragile?

Keen to hear of any experiences?

Also noticed that Milltek make an exhaust also but that seems a bit strange on a diesel? The clips of the C6 version sound pretty decent.

I think the s tronic box will limit your options but worth googling audi forums for more definitive info.

They sound quite good with a Milltek on actually; really lovely, smooth engine. Not coarse like the Mercedes unit at all.

Stage 1 map is fun too and all most people will want; more power, more torque and much more energetic at higher revs.

Ah cool, that makes the exhaust sound worthwhile. Do you have a view on who would be best to use for the the remap?

A reputable tuner that is near to you and can offer support/advice should you need it; everyone that has ever had a car remapped will tell you that their tuner is the best.
