Thinking about a change in current ownership and buying one of these now that I don't drive as much for work.
Now they're getting on slightly (but not really), what is there to look out for?
I hear that they can get about 250 miles out of a tank? What about tyres / servicing costs?
I'd be looking at an Avant.
Thanks

Hello mate... get it done.
Check DRC (over 1k to fix), carbon build up (over 1k to clean out), aux rad's, brakes, vacuum pipes, etc.
I would probably look for a higher mileage car with evidence that much of the above work been done, otherwise it's likely looming.
You're right about 250 miles per tank, when we drove to Tignes we burned 100 euros every 2.5 hours
