Anyone on here know of a company offering a remap on a 2013 S3?

I am not a fan of plug-in boxes, although I have seen one that supposedly adds 55BHP smile

Could be old or new model in 2013; old car relatively easily flashed for a shade over 300 BHP.

New ones just coming on stream now, the ECUs have only very recently been unlocked. MTM Cantronic is a plug-in tuning box rather than ECU software.

If its a new S3 then REVO do have a tune available for the Golf R (same engine) and will soon have the Cupra 280 out aswell (Same engine again)

If its the old S3 then APR/REVO/GIAC all have tunes

REVO have a remap - around 360-370 bhp for £599 + VAT.

Anybody know if a new S3 is in the offing anytime soon?

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one early next year although I'm in no rush. The shape is over ten years old now, a replacement must be due soon?

As mentioned the new S3 is out since 2013. If you are looking for a different shape then the S3 Saloon might be of interest for you, I recently saw one in the metal and it looked much better than in the pictures. Based on history we won’t see a facelift before 2016.

There will also be a RS3 next year (400+ hp, 5 cylinder) and rumours suggest that there will be a S3 Plus with the same engine as the normal S3 but with around 360-375 hp. ( source)

Yup; Audi seem to be after the crown for 'highest specific power output'. They hired the chap that developed the AMG 4 pot to help out.

Hmmm. S3+. I wonder how much extra it'll be. This is the sort of gen I need!

Thanks

Yes, I am also keeping an eye on the S3+. Hopefully it will get the same calibration as the Golf R which is getting nothing but praise. I just read an article in Evo where they claim the Golf R (same platform and engine as S3) is more fun to drive and more comfortable than the new Impreza. This chassis with the Audi interior would be all I want from a daily car.

The regular S3 is a bit on the "soft" side with more bodyroll and understeer than the Golf, it would make sense to make the S3+ a bit sportier but not quite as hardcore as the RS3.

REVO have confirmed that their version (which is a reflash of the ECU) will be available in a few weeks. All other solutions are external boxes currently.

I am waiting for REVO currently.

The + models typically just have a power bump.
