Passat BKP Cambelt Failure

Morning All,

I had a cambelt done on my Passat TDI last Thursday and it then failed Saturday Morning.

All sorted as garage are replacing head with a recon due to component failure but they said it only bent one valve?????

Can that happen on a 16v engine?
