VW V(r)6 experienced garage Kent
Discussion
Hi all.
I have a 2.8 24v 204bhp Vr6 engined Galaxy automatic MPV.
It has a slight misfire at low revs. No fault codes shown and I've replaced all the coils, plugs, quality battery and service and no change. My regular garage is not sure but honest and said they can try changing lots of expensive bits (MAF, sensors etc) but really I should take it to someone who knows them. The internet is awash with misfire issues on these and the cure can be one of many things I believe..
The misfire may be triggering strange shifts on the auto box (or the auto box needs work too). However the auto transmission specialist has advised to have the engine running 100% before touching the transmission.
So I really need a garage with experience of these engines to check it over as they'd likely know from experience exactly what to change first.
Can anyone reccomend some VW specialists in Kent (or even London) to try?
