Is anyone running an Audi RS6 C6 with 700hp here?
I have a fiew questions:

How does the gearbox take it?
Do they remap it or do more thing like air intakes?
Does it make it unreliable?
How much does it improve its performances?
And is anyone running an ABT tuned one?

Thanks!

Yes I've got one (only had it a week though).

I did lots of research before buying it and it would seem that they have excellent reliability records, even at the 700bhp level. No specific failure points, box and diffs all seem up to the job, many are running well over 900nm of torque for several years and tens of thousands of miles with no issues at all.

Mine was remapped by MRC rather than ABT though.

I haven't driven a standard one so can't offer a meaningful comparison but I can tell you it's bloody quick. It really disguises it's speed because it's so refined.

Have a read on rs246.com lots if very useful info there.

P.s. Pics please!

Driven a stock RS6 and been a passenger in a 750hp one (MRC mapped). I actually thought the stock one "felt" slower than my older C5 RS6 (500hp) because the power delivery of the newer V10 was so smooth and linear that there was never a "thump in the back" feeling of torque surge that you get from my older RS6, even though you can see the speedo flying around so you know it's quicker.

The 750hp ride gave me that the old familiar thump but much stronger and the way the speedo blurred around from 100-170mph was ridiculous!

The gearboxes/diffs seem strong with very few reported faults due to tuning (most maps are around 900-1050nm) and the mapping usually is Air Filters, Exhaust and Map to reach 700 and pre-Cat removal in the exhaust downpipes to hit the 750 mark.

The latest MRC stage 2 is ~750 from a map and filters, stock exhaust!

The Milltek system is cat-back, to see decent gains I think you'd need to put sport cars on or decat pipes but AFAIK the exhaust still doesn't add that much because the stock item it's not very restrictive.

Mine is 727bhp with an older map and high-flow lifelong filters.

I do want an exhaust, not for extra power but just because the standard one is quite muted!

I'm just trying to find out the options for that at the moment!

The 4 most common options seem to be:

Milltek
Supersprint
MTM
Custom fabricated

Have you got one or looking to buy?

Despite all the reassurances of reliability I still bought a warranty - £1600 from warranty direct (who have a pretty good name) or £1500 from Audi but then all servicing has to be done at an audi dealer I think - I chose the warranty direct option.

Here's mine:

I'm thinking of getting an RS6, and would definitely want it running 700+ BHP. Does anyone know the rough cost of the upgrade from both ABT and MRC?

Also at what sort of mileage does it need a more expensive than usual service, and are there any common issues I should be looking out for?

Thanks

About £750 for the map and filters I think.

Budget for gearbox flush and oil change at the same time. It will save any worries about the box.
Not cheap (350 ish IIRC) but probably worth it.

Mine is stock at the moment, been really tempted to map it but I just don't really see the point as its already bonkers fast.
If you do map it let us know how you get on - oh and MRC really are the only people to go and see!

I've got one with 704bhp from MRC. It's a night and day difference before and after and they are very reliable at this power. It cost around £1100 including the bespoke stage 2 map, the rolling road time and the MRC/ITG air filters.

Thanks a lot, yeah it's really subtle and stealthy. I love the bright blue (nogaro?) but it's a bit shouty for an RS6 IMHO

Sepang blue no? Looks lovely IMO.
Couple on AutoTrader but slightly higher mileage than I would've liked (and also the fact one of them was bought by a dealer for £31k last week before being put back on sale for £35k the next day. Gutted I didn't make the call whilst it was up for private sale).
