A8 headlight problem

I am having a problem with the main (dipped)drivers side headlight on my 2006 A8. I thought I had a bulb out, but replaced it and the problem remains the same. Its just this one, the main headlight and the sidelight remains good

There doesn't appear to be a fuse for this specific bulb - any thoughts anyone.

If xenons, probably the ignitor. I presume if you swap the bulbs from side to side there is no difference?
