Got a 59 plate manual TTRS with lots of options. However, what I'm really after is that touch more power hehe

Looking at getting an APR remap in Hull shortly (£900) - just wondering whether to combine with an exhaust or not. Standard catback ones are about £900 through them, or they'll do a turbo back one (another 20ish hp on top of the remap, apparently) for £1,400, plus the cost of the remap.

Anyone got any advice? Which option is the best? Clearly the map on its own offers the best bang-per-buck, but will I regret not getting an exhaust too? And, if I get an exhaust, is it really worth getting one without spending a bit more to get one that gets you a bit more bhp?

Help appreciated smile

get any bits like sports cat and exhaust first, then remap it not the other way around.

Yes speak to your APR dealer, if you add turbo back you might be able to get the Stage2 map rather than Stage1 then.

Do you really need the full exhaust for a stage 2, I thought you could get away with just doing the downpipe?

You can on other cars not sure about the TTRS.

On 2.0TFSI downpipe is only needed.
