Hi
I have a white 2013 a6 sline 2.0 tdi saloon. Have to say I really like it and the finance deal was quite good. The engine isn't very exciting but very economical. In any case I saw a white avant sline a6 and for the first time ever I foud myself admiring an estate car. Is this a case of the by by 40 approaching or is the a6 avant a seriously slick looking motor?

Estates in general (I`m not going to call them Avants, Tourings or Wagons) look better than their saloon counterparts IMHO.

Factor in the increased practicality and it`s a no brainer.

Every Audi I've ever bought, or will buy will be an Avant. Dogs apart, they are so much more practical (and I prefer the look of 'em).

Def can appreciate the space and practicalities and with three kids a bigger boot would be useful. The saloon is really nice, but the black edition of the avant is stunning.
I have the saloon about 15 months, what would the sweet spot in terms of trading up? My last A4 was three year old and Audi couldn;t wait to take if off me as I had bought it from them. Would I be looking at three years again before the depreciation has lessened?
