D4 S8 MMI jerk when starting to open

Approved used D4 S8 has a clonk/jerk when the MMI starts to open, I see a TSB for C7 A6 and problems on D3 A8. My D4 A8 was completely smooth.
Have sent query to dealer, anyone come across this on a D4?

Had this on my old one and current one. Originally it was due to the assembly being plastic but personally I find it more to do with ambient temperature.
I asked Audi to look to at it under warranty in 2011, they put a new part in but over time it's randomly started again. It is now not covered by extended warranty.
I got used to it especially a (A) it didn't break, it just creaked and (B) they wanted £150 to re look at it.
Other than sounding a bit crappy, it it doesn't seem to affect the operation
