No real issues so far on mine.
It's been back a few times under warranty for a bit of bonnet paint peel (repainted bonnet), air con fault (pressure sensor and split condenser pipe) and some moisture had got into the paint on the lower edge of the drivers door and bubbled up (door stripped down and all repainted/sealed). I guess these few things are worth the warranty in themselves if that's a consideration.
I haven't had any mechanical/electrical problems and the only other expense has been petrol and tyres.
Great car, wouldn't have any problems as a DD as long as you have somewhere decent to park - the only thing I found the car lacking in was noise - recently remedied by the addition of a Capristo X-Pipe (well worth it!)
