Goodwill? On a 4 year old 52k mile car? Can't see that happening.
Why not go to an Indy and cut the cost?
Indy's are a s likely to take the piss as main agents. And yes, most manufacturers have a goodwill policy that pays for some or all of the repair, for cars up to 5 years old, if they have a full main dealer service history. Why not go to an Indy and cut the cost?

Agreed, usually if it's either full manufacturer service history or purchased from new or approved used you can qualify for goodwill.Condi said:
I suspect that mine is going the same way. 2010 with 78k. Considering how many of those were, and still are, motorway/distance miles Im not overly impressed.
Came across this post again and thought Id give an update. Never did bother getting it investigated, and the car has now done 120K on the original clutch. Sometimes get a little judder when pulling away in first, as it did 50k miles ago, Ive put it down to the self adjusting mechanism getting confused rather than anything serious. The more miles I do the more Ive considered getting the clutch and DMF replaced as a preventative job at a time of my choosing rather than an emergency job when Im miles from home. However, so far, so good.
