100k miles on clock...worth a punt?
Discussion
Afternoon guys.
Seen a 08 plate b8 a4 3.0 tdi Quattro s line for sale for just shy of £9k.
Looks nice but am I likely to have a lot of trouble with it being very high miles?
Also I have a baby due in February, can I comfortably fit a pushchair in the boot of the car? Or would I be better looking for an avant?
Is there anything I should look for on audi's? Having never owned one

Well I don't know. Haha too me 100k seems high haha.
This is the car in question - http://www.audisaab.co.uk.razsor.autotrader.co.uk/...
What mpg can I expect out of this? Don't know wether I'd use this as my daily driver for my 60 mile round trip commute or the wife's mondeo if it's too high mileage

I'll also be interested to here peoples thoughts on this. I've always bought around the 50k miles mark and sold on around 75/80k miles a few years later as I always felt it was good to sell before 90+. However seeing as I do such low mileage I've recently been think I may as we'll start making use of these 100k bargains that seem to be out there. But I'm nervous of both big bills and problems selling on at 130k miles...

Been searching and I've seen a nice avant for sale near where I work. That's got 92k...one owner I believe. Full leather seats. Well Under my budget at £10k.
What do you make of that sort of miles?
That should be good if its got a decent service history. The mileage is high enough that it makes it cheap but obviously not quite over the 100k barrier. What do you make of that sort of miles?
Says it has full service history. But last serviced back in the middle of last year at 63k. 18 months down the lime it's not got an extra 30k on clock? That seem excessive at all?
Can't decide if I need an avant or not.
I like the styling of the avant and feel it would be a benefit for the family as we got plenty of room to load it with a pushchair and when going on say 'centre parks' holidays.
But can get a saloon for maybe same price and with less miles on it and It will be primarily me in the car on my journey to work.
Just want a nice car for work and family. If a saloon can happily fit a pushchair plus a couple of hold alll's then that would be great.
Plus is the room in the back any good for rear passengers?
The wife is happier for me to have an audi as they're fwd and will be better in snow. A Quattro in the first post would be ideal...but too pricey and the miles in that car are too much.
Is it worth looking at the petrol options especially as fuel prices continue to drop. On auto trader site it says a 2.0 TFSI can do 54mpg extra urban. 90% of my journey is extra urban. My 120d is averaging 47mpg according to the OBC on the same journey 5 days a weeks
