I am loving my polo gti dsg. Its black and it arrived just over a month ago.

its a nippy little thing, its certainly not lacking pace.

Done about 1800 miles in mine now.

Brakes are excellent, steering is very good (reference points being a standard C Class which is dire and a Boxster which is sublime).

MPG on a run is 39.99 around town I am getting just over 30, around double of my old 997.2 Turbo PDK.

About the same here...I did a recent video where I got 43mpg on an 8 mile trip in mixed driving conditions.

Steering is good. Still find sport mode a little too solid but normal is very nice.
