That's my setup it's hard to explain with words but it's purpose designed for the car rather than one of those generic fit ones you can get so I would advise going for one of these proper ones.

The other thing is an argos boot liner for twenty quid smile

That looks pretty comprehensively sorted!

May not need to be quite so extreme with two terriers though.

Thanks for the info cool

I've seen a good lease deal on these. I've a few months on my Fiesta ST left and I'm reading reviews and the Polo GTI has some good write ups. I think it'll be a nice follow up to the ST. How's everyone getting on with theirs? Anyone had both?

Make sure you get the sports select suspension as imo it's well worth the £235

Sharpens the dampers up, better throttle response, and also pipes a bit of noise in.

I'm torn between getting the GTI or a S1.
surely a very different price bracket? - S1 is 30k+ with decent options and competes with golf GTI, R and S3 in terms of performance/price. Can't see the appeal in one with boggo spec without both Quattro packs.

It looks worse because of the pothole nature of the lay bye but I think it could definately use at least another 10-15mm drop for sure.

I was concerned when I got it that it wouldn't be good enough and that I would regret not getting something less sensible like a clio 220 trophy or abarth competizione but after a couple of weeks I like it more than ever!

It's obviously not on Megane/Focus/Golf level but it's not quite a whole league below more like "half a league" lol

It really does punch above its weight. It's torque to weight ratio is 5ib/ft per tonne off the latest Golf Gti and the 0-60 is all of .2 slower and 5mph slower top speed

Good options there similar to mine but I park old skool lol

Red looms awesome with the black detailing (the little lip on the end of the spoiler looks cool as F on non black models)

Did a bit more filming today so might have some more videos up later

It's not but coming from a Clio 172 with an unsilenced supersports exhaust it's bliss!

Plus I'm starting to get the whole VW and GTI thing now as I'm getting older.

Shame I still can't find my ideal driving position yet
