So I know regular ACC was available as an option on the D3 A8, operating from ~19MPH. However, according to Wikipedia, ACC Plus was fitted to the 2008+ D3 A8. This is the version that can bring the car to a complete stop, rather than shutting-off at ~19MPH.

Can anyone confirm or deny?

Thanks.

I've never heard the term 'ACC plus' used before, the text describing the system in 2006, 2007, 2008 & 2009 brochures is identical:

8T4
Adaptive cruise control. Automatic distance regulation, using radar sensors to maintain
required distance by braking and accelerating. Four programmes (distance 1 to distance
4) set via steering column controls of the cruise control system

Some further Googling has revealed that "ACC Plus" is the name Bosch gave it (they supply the system to Audi). ACC Plus was made available by Bosch in around the 2006-2007 timeframe, so the technology was certainly available. Whether, or not, Audi started fitting it to the D3 in 2008 (as claimed by Wikipedia) is the million dollar question. You would've thought Audi would've updated the brochure if that was the case, but it's not impossible it was overlooked I guess.

Hopefully, someone out there has a 2008 or 2009 D3 with Adaptive Cruise and can chime in.
