High Mileage V10
Discussion
No idea what boxes were used, the company I went to was Flow Dynamics in Milton Keynes, they are Powerflow agents so probably one of their bits. Only cost £285 iirc, so definite value for money.
I think your car will be MMi 3G by the way, think it was standard on facelift, but not certain. I think the way to tell is the main control knob is different.

ok so I called the 2 local powerflow dealers
Quote was 600 at place 1 and 200 at place 2 hmmmm...for 2 x backboxes
So with MMI 3G so what are my options for the following :
Ipod
1. Take out CD player and add AMI unit
2. Take out CD player and install ipod lead
3. Will the tune2air device only work if I have a Ipod interface already
Reversing camera/ TV tuner
1. If I went for one of the above could I get ipod integration
Cheers

This is what I did for bluetooth streaming in my S6 with 2G High MMI and should work if you have the external AV sources.
"Thought I would share my recent cheap Bluetooth music streaming solution for others as looking on the web didnt turn up much.
Total cost of the install was £25.43
The parts required are as follows
1. Connects2 CT29AU02 lead. I got mine here - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160690745278?ssPageName=...
One thing to note is that there was a manufacturing fault with my first lead where the left and right negatives had separate pins when they should be joined giving you 5 pins to plug in.
Installation instructions are here - http://www.connects2downloads.co.uk/c2/files/Insta...
Although my layout looks different it was just a case of removing 3 nuts and 1 bolt and the whole cage lifted and swung into the boot for easy access.
2. Ipod to RCA including power lead here - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130733565203?ssPageName=...
You simply need to locate a suitable switched live live and earth point in which to wire this in and connect to the above lead.
3. Generic Bluetooth receiver such as - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221402870065?ssPageName=...
This receiver needs a power source as the lead above and negates the need for battery’s
All in all a very simple install and works perfectly with my factory fit telephone prep by fading out the music when a call is received and continuing once the call has ended."
One potential problem to be aware of though is that ive seen a few issues with the Connects2 lead from factory.

I'm planning on chopping my own boxes off, replacing with the tailpipes from the EBay one and just using exhaust clamp/sleeves. Should be easy enough to swap back if it doesn't suit. There's some tunnels that run under the Manchester Airport runway near me. Will have to do a few high rev drive bys...

I have MMI 3g and I have no AV inputs (TV tuner)
So I would hook this wire up to the back of the CD player ?
Apologies in advance for the noob questions
Booked in for the back boxes to be changed over the weekend - will post up a video later

Its such an addictive sound once you've taken the leap and had something done to the exhaust. Driving in manual, downshifting so it hits between 3-4000 rpm, sounds lovely.
As far as your MMI/AMI question, I don't really know, try a search on vwaudiforum thats generally a very quiet forum, but quite a lot of useful info on there.
Has anyone seen this Av option ? http://www.xcarlink.co.uk/product.php?productid=36...
For around 500 quid with front and reversing cameras, phone mirroring and TV tuner
Now how much would it cost to install ?

OK so the back boxes came off - and yes it was ridiculously loud
Added new back boxes and std tailpipes - sounds good but still too loud in my opinion - I can now hear the exhaust all the time so it might be time to go Milltek route - it doesn't drone though
On cold start up WOW its loud until the revs drop
I will get a start up clip sorted and some in car sound

My Miltek non res is very load on cold start up, under ground car park too, I love it, often torn in between windows up hi-fi loud, windows down engine louder!!
A car that gives me everything, it makes me smile thinking about it!! Oh and I've had the engine in bit too!! what a challenge.

MyTyres have cheap Toyo's and Oponeo have Kumho's for £99 each and cheap Toyo's I believe.
I got shoved into a pothole by a van on Friday bulging a sidewall on my front nearside and as they are all on about 3mm I'm going for 4 new ones next week - can't decide what to go for though.
Cheers,
Phil

Make sure you get the correct load rating.
Audi sold me my S6 and after personally covering just a thousand miles they were through to the canvas on the inside edge.
Most prices seem to be around £250 fitted however if you can arrange fitting yourself blackcirles on eBay are £185 each including postage.
