What next after a leased Golf R?

Just a thought. As so many Golf R's have been leased. In a couple of years there will be a fair few hitting the dealers. Price to by a 2 year old used might drop a bit as supply might be high. I might buy one.
Like I say, just a thought.

Freedom have a good deal on the Audi s5. I'm 9 months into my R lease. Love it. Might be tempted by new focus rs. Will buy though. Residuals will be strong I expect.

Mines not even here yet but an M2 will be high on the list depending on production run etc.

Have been watching these Golf R lease related threads with interest as I'm inbetween cars at the moment and can't decide. All the raves and deals got me thinking about the R. As a past owner of a new MKII GTI 16V in oak green metallic (which I owned for 11 years and was magazine featured) and a MKV R32, I have a soft spot for the Golf. Then saw one in a car park up close for the first time this week and was totally underwhelmed. In fact, I thought it looked odd! Whilst it will be a very capable drive, it just looks awful, and that's a deal breaker for me. A'm oot!
