Hello guys, I'm very excited, having only ever owned 2 cars before, a 1996 Mx-5, and my current car, a 2005 1.2 Clio (booooooring). I've secured a 2 year PCP on a 2015 Polo GTI, the deal was £249 deposit and then £249 per month (8k per annum), with 1 year's free insurance and free servicing for the duration of the PCP. They've accepted my clio as an exchange so I'll be skipping the deposit and having lower monthly payments, I've gotten one in white with the performance package, can't wait! smile

forgive my limited understanding, but you pay £249 per month for 24 months for a car, then what, give it back?

I do it a lot. You get a new car, covered by warranty, breakdowns covered, tax deductible, no MOTs or repair bills, and at the end you either buy it and sell it for a profit, give it back, or trade it in for another, using the equity as a deposit.

Not the cheapest, but the piss easy way to trouble free motoring.

Fair enough. Its not something I've ever considered so have very limited knowledge on the subject.

Small update, dealer messaged me yesterday to let me know that my car has now arrived in the UK, so should be with me very soon! I'll get pictures etc up ASAP when I get it, I'm hoping I can grab it tomorrow as I'm off work, very excited!

Ignore the crap quality (dealer took it), not had much time in it yet, but to say I'm in love and it's a huuuuuge upgrade to my old car is an understatement smile

Sadly I'm terrible at skiing and to top it off I have a bad knee frown

Yes, LED headlights are standard, I made a mistake last night and thought that they were actually my full beams when I was in the car (never owned a modern car) as they were so bright! I'll try take a picture for you tonight if I remember if you like?

Here's a quick couple I took today when I was off to get my hair cut :P

Wow that does look great. I'm torn about getting a new car. Currently I have a company car but I'm thinking about swappinh it for a van and then getting one of these or a fiesta St. The lease over 2 years is about the same as the lease cost.
