Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of getting some new boots for the mrs TTS (2009 coupe manual) anyone got any suggestions?

It came to us on proper ditch finders so we're keen to have a grippy tyre this time but one thats durable, anyone have an experience?

We swapped what I assume was the standard fit Pirelli P-Zeros on c4mm to Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 and made the world of difference on our TTRS coupe.. would have gone for Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres if they'd been available at short notice, but after a slight moment on the Pirelli tyres and some standing water, they had to be replaced ASAP.

Cheers,
Grant

Seconded for Eagle F1 Assymetrics, had two sets now on different cars and both felt superb, wet or dry and even coped well with snow surprisingly well.

Sticks.

F1 Asy 2's here too. Mine came with P Zero Rosso's on which felt jittery as they wore.

+1 for the Goodyears. They are great on my S4.

Another vote for the Eagle F1 Asymmetrics. Good price and great in dry, very good in wet. Also reasonably quiet running and economical (compared to my previous PS3s which roared away and seemed to cause about a 2mpg drop).

Either Michelin Pilot Super Sports or Goodyear F1s Assy 2s would get my vote.

I've had the Goodyears on my TTS for three years.

They've been very good. Need replacing now and will probably get them again.

+1 for the Goodyears. Had the PZeros, same as above, squirmy as they wore and terrible in the damp. Replaced with Goodyears, very very very almost as good in the dry, million times better in the wet, quieter & more economical (cheaper too).
