anyone ordered one yet?

if so best deals either through a main dealer or lease?

had a Golf R and want something smaller - TTS seems to fit.

I'd approach with extreme caution - have you not read the stories of people begging Audi to take back new TTs?

For example - http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

I think Autocar have ran several similar stories.

Autocar have run 2 stories. One of which was the same person as the thread referenced.

Seems mostly to be based around the phone connection and the Tech pack

Which to be fair are things that are simple to fix. Once they fix the software bug, presumably the dealer just plugs the car in and updates the software.

Well you say that, but if it's so simple to fix why has it resulted in stories of people returning cars?

No idea whether they have or havent fixed it yet. Maybe its a cost/benefit thing, where they need to wait until a certain number of complaints until they pay for a recall.

There's always stories of people returning new cars for various reasons. Sometimes its a systemic problem with the model, sometimes its just a bad individual car. Either way, in the case of the TT, 2 stories doesn't exactly provide a conclusive view. Given how many cars they've sold, I'd have expected hundreds of stories by now if it was particularly prevelant.

I've seen two stories of people returning cars. Not unusual for new models to have problems and I'm sure a software or other fix will be along. I'm currently in a MK7 GTI and as a former TT owner would say go for it - just make sure you post how you get on!

Not much

TT = 1966mm

Golf = 2027mm

Perhaps looks at Polo GTI or S1?
