Two parts to this question; firstly I was wondering if anyone on here has had the Revo stage 1 re-map done on a 2009 or newer Phaeton 3.0 V6 TDI. I am not expecting a lot have, but if you don't ask, you will never find out...The second part of the question is can you fill me in as to which other VAG vehicles have this engine fitted? I am assuming the A6 and A8 of 2006 onwards, as the engine in my Phaeton is the 245bhp common rail I believe. Although I am happy to be put right if I am wrong.

I have been talking to Clive Atthowe in Norwich (who suggested it was the current 245bhp engine going from the reg number and the Revo web site info) and will be getting it done in a few weeks. I know that my car is not exactly a performance model but a 40 - 50 bhp increase and 80 lbft of torque is just too tempting to pass up for a Monkey. Mega wafting here I come

Not driven a mapped 3.0 TDI Phaeton but have several A8s; the already entertaining low end shove is magnified and they rev out with a lot more conviction.

The engine is very, very similar to that in:

A4
A5
Q5
A6
A7
Q7
A8
Touareg

There are slight mapping differences by installation age for age they're much the same and will see very similar gains.

Absolutely worth doing.

Thanks for the info and advice Dr G. I was surprised at the gains that were being quoted compared to a petrol engine but I guess that good old turbo and high pressure injection has so much scope for tweaking.I should be getting it done in the next few weeks. Looking forward to it already...

Obviously dyno figures are only numbers on a page and subject to this that and the other but we had an A5 through a few weeks back that with Revo Stage 1 and a Milltek put down 299PS...

Any one else with experience of a re-map on a VAG group 3.0 V6 TDI? As per Dr G's earlier post, these seem to be widely used in bigger Audis.
