Nice, if you had to do the trip again would you take the R32 or mk7 R? Still smitten with mine despite the initial expense I had to sort a few things out.

Was it you with the supercharger & knacked engine?

I sold the R32 in the end as I realised I was always using the R in preference

Fair enough, yes I had a piston go not long into ownership then timing chain stretch, all fixed and going well now though.

If you ever get a chance to do a Euro road trip leap at it...it's what they are made for! ( unless you are on a low mileage lease deal)
