Audi rs6 avant c5 wanted - any offers?

I'm looking for a well maintained RS6 avant if anyone knows of one coming available. Checked the usual autotrader, ebay and ads on here but nothing taking my fancy

Audi SRS, RS246, Audi Sport; if you're looking for one that's been maintained to an 'above and beyond' standard these are the first places to look. Cherished cars do pop up now and then.

They're awesome things as long as you buy right and go into ownership with your eyes wide open.

I'd probably contact a few audi specialists and see if any of their customers are selling. Then you could at least get one with some real history.

What sort of budget, colour preferences and mileage range are you looking at?

Any must haves like recent gearbox replacements or DRC replacement?

I've noticed the number available has shrunk since I bought mine. Prices seem to be holding steady, so maybe at the bottom of their depreciation curve?

Be very careful, they are utter money pits, i bought a non runner and lost my shirt putting it back on the road.

I'm not overly fussed on colour just more concerned about history really.
Don't mind original DRC but know they are problemsome.
Gearbox needs to have been regulary serviced.
Ideally black leather rather than silver as they look tired no really.

£10k Max budget although I know they are advertised unto £17k but this is unrealistic unless the car has flawless history and is low mileage.

The silver leather is normally just dirty; properly cleaned and conditioned (not just wiped over!) it comes back absolutely lovely.

Agree - silver leather in my Avant (not for sale though!) and it comes up well with the various Gliptone cleaning and conditioning products.

I have had the car for 9 fantastic years be sorry to see her go. still on DRC but gearbox replaced at Christmas, 12 months MOT. Might need a exhaust gas sensor as i have a fault code but i will get that done prior to sale or reduce accordingly

Still looking.
Think I'd prefer it on original DRC, black leather, not fussed on exterior colour.

Really want one with good history. Dealer or specialist not back street garages or a mates fried did it.

Anyway if anyone hears of anything I'm in no rush.
