VW infotainment system update?

Done a search and had no luck what so ever on this,
Please could anyone help?

Is there an update for this we as owners can do? MK7 golf and it just says "usb error" when I connect my xperia Z3

Have you tried using a USB stick with some MP3's on there?

It could be a duff or faulty socket if you use it a lot.

However, i haven't seen any updates around, although i suspect it would be a main dealer thing.

Yes its quite happy with memory sticks and cards etc. I'll have to give the dealer a call.
