VW Touareg Satnav upgrade + Phone connection upgrade

Hi guys,

I need some help here... I have just bought a VW Touareg 2005 vintage and the integrated sat nav is pretty poor. Is there a way to upgrade the maps or operation?? I accept I may be asking too much here.


Also the car comes with a VW Nokia 610 cradle. Does anyone know how I can plug my Samsung S6 Edge in its place? I don’t believe a standard cradle exists to take it. Perhaps a cable exisits that could make my Samsung work with the current phone set up??

Update Cd-roms for VW's are on Ebay for around £20 or so. You'll need the model number of the in-dash unit, and the version number of the original software (to make sure you don't buy the same version again. )
