Help B7 2.0 TFSI or modified B5 2.8 Quattro

Hi everyone,
Need help I can't decide.
£5000 on a B7 2.0 TFSI Quattro with no money left to modified it at all.
Or
A much cheaper B5 with plenty of cash left to do up maybe even an 2.7tt swap.
