Fabia VRS buying advice needed..

Brilliant stuff!
Spoke to my insurance company about the remap and the chap quoted an extra £12. He also mentioned that most people don't bother informing the insurance company of remaps, which I thought was interesting.
I recall seeing a 'modifications' part on the v5c and thought this would belong there.. I have always had standard cars so am new to this!

Just to share our experience with a Fabia VRS.
It had done more miles than yours but seemed like a good buy at the time.It was a pokey little thing and had been re-mapped (badly as we later found out). We strongly suspect this accounted for the turbo failing.
The turbo failed a few hundred miles after the clutch and flywheel were replaced. When the clutch was done there was play found in the gearbox (common fault).
