My r8 needs new front pads and I'm minded to just do the rears which are lowish too

Having done some research it appears that the ones to go for are either OEM or laid rs29

Audi dealers are massively overpriced IMHO, and I wonder if the shrewd folk of P H can direct me where to source pads at a discounted price....either here or abroad

Ordinarily such a mundane task should be just a google away. But alas there seems to be very little out there on Internet sites for r8 v10

Please guide me!!

Your local branch of TPS is probably a good first call. You probably won't get them super cheaply but I wouldn't be surprised if they offered you 10%.

I had to source Pagid RS29's from the US for my F10 M5, as they were not available from any supplier in the UK. Not sure if the same would apply for the R8 given it's a model that's been around longer, but the same may apply. I'd defiantly steer clear of the dealers for consumables as their mark up on such items is frankly horrific. I'm sure other pad options are available, but my personal preference is the RS29 as they're so much better than the OEM pads which themselves are very good on road & track.
