Speckled up a new RS6 Looked in what car for a target price for the base car with no option but there is none listed. Called them and they dont have a figure. Doh,

Base car is £77,760 with options £84140

Curious if any others can give an indication of the deal they managed to do with a dealer pls.

Thx

Carwow is your friend. Specced one up to 93k and the best offer came in at 79k (conditional on taking Audi finance).

Carwow here too, albeit on a BiTDI. 21% discount on a pcp.

You should get 10k off that spec car. You won't get 21% off RS6. But up to 15% may be attainable if you are lucky / buy an existing order. Try Chris Jones at Tetbury Audi. Good guy, with fingers in a few pies order wise wink
He sold me mine.

Agree with that - prob 12-13% from main dealer, built to order with Audi finance contribution (which you can pay off immediately anyway). Maybe 15%+ if stock order? I got c£11k off to my own spec, goes into build on Monday.

Try orangewheels and carwow - OW were better than what i could get from Carwow but their dealier was near london (im in scotland) so went to best carwow dealer for location and asked them to price match.

this included the £7k audi finance

PM me if you want dealer details.

Base price of the car is £79,085

However, in reality, they offer a 9% discount straight away with a £7k Audi contribution bringing the base price down to £72k.

You can get another 4-6% off on top of this too depending on options. On an £84k spec, you'll probably be paying around £73k.

My understanding is that any incentive is irrelevant to when you pay the finance off. From another thread...

If you raise the issue of withdrawing some dealers will skirt round this by advising you to pay three or four instalments before asking for an early settlement figure. They do this simply to ensure they get their commission from Audi finance, which they do not get if you withdraw within 14 days

You will want to read the finance agreement(ask the dealer) but it should be a simple monthly interest calculation as opposed to a front loaded 'interest calculated yearly!'

I've had a bit of a route around. You will need to ask the dealer specifically.

1. By law you would normally be allowed to 'Withdraw' (cooling off) within 14 days and retain all incentives. Great news for you BUT
1a. The law only allows you to withdraw if the credit contract is no greater than £60,260. I suspect the RS6 will fall outside this limit

2. OK, normally not a problem because most finance companies calculate interest on a 'Monthly Reducing balance' basis which means you will not be charged any interest beyond the early settlement date. VW finance calculate in this way. Audi finance DOES NOT. I'm quite sure Audi use a flat rate which means, say 5% on £70k credit. Yu have 3500 interest in year one. This is why you see large differences between interest rates quoted and APR or AER

You will have to ask specific questions from the dealer

From hazy recollections of a dealer trying to sign me up to this when we were looking at a used car, I think you only needed to finance a tiny percentage to qualify, by putting in a large 'deposit'? That would get around the £60k figure above, if correct (but worth being aware of as you might choose to finance the lot for cashflow etc with the expectation of being able to easily get out of it down the line!)

thank you - I too have a dig around on their website and agree the 14 day cooling off would be the safest option. I think it will also be that the finance will be less then the £60260 or certainly I will make sure it is !

appreciate your help as its good to bounce ideas and to make sure your nor reading things weirdly !!

Yes. Lovely looking car. Better size for most roads. But, once you try a RS6…
So much more refined. Better ride. Bentleyesque. And supple power (you would be an idiot to exploit the differences in acceleration on public roads but you can enjoy the effortless grunt without red lining the car).
