RS6 price discounts

80% residual value after 3 years. Very few other cars come within 20% of that.
I dont think your numbers are correct.A 2013 car (which would be a late 2013 car) is 2.25-2.50 years old. It would have cost about £80k with extras after 13-15% discount. That is sitting at 69%. It has another 0.50-0.75 years to go so I think it will retain 60-63%% at 3 years. That is fairly standard from what I have seen with Audi I have owned.

I guess that's based on what the dealer's selling the 2013 car for now. Very different to how much he paid for it, which is the 'real' depreciation.A 2013 car (which would be a late 2013 car) is 2.25-2.50 years old. There is a guy on RS246 that has just put his six month old 15,000 mile car with a dealer on SOR at £60k and my local Audi dealer has a 2015 car with 5000 miles up for £65k, the latter has a not very desirable spec.
The guy from RS246 was given a trade bid of £55k, the dealer local to me probably paid something beginning with a 5 for that car too.
I am very, very tempted by an RS6 but am slightly worried that their about to re-price, there are a lot of unsold new cars in the dealers and plenty of demonstrators around. You can order a car to spec for delivery in ten weeks at a 15% discount. That puts the real price of a base spec new RS6 at around £68k.
Most used cars look expensive to me, the RS246 members car looks like the right price.

That car is £5k under the rest of the market but the mileage is putting off nearly new buyers who can spec a brand new car lightly for just 10k more. The guy from RS246 was given a trade bid of £55k, the dealer local to me probably paid something beginning with a 5 for that car too.

The RS6 is a car you buy with your heart not your head, and I don't regret it for a moment. Incredible car and miles ahead of the previous incarnation (the V10 was special, but the chassis was boring IMO).
Go for it.
Mine is just going in for its 40k service. I could be wrong, but I think it's one of the highest mileage C7's . It a 63 plate car . I'm not really sure what it's worth at the moment, but I have taken the view that it's going to take a big hit, so I might as well. Get as many miles out of her as I can. Then the cost per mile will go down.
Brilliant car. I've just test driven the new C63 AMG. That was a very good car, one that I could happily own. I left the dealer ready to sort out a deal.
Got back in the RS to drive home and within 1/2 mile, it just hit me, no way was I swapping the RS for the merc,

The actual mileage on the car is 36000miles, but the service indicater is telling me I need a service and the next scheduled one is the 40k service. this consists of usual stuff, plus spark plugs, and rear sport diff oil and filter change.
The consumables so far have been pretty minor.
1 set of front disks and pads, changed at 24K miles, I assume I'll be needing new ones soonish. cost to replace £1k, I'm also expecting the rears to need doing soon
tyes, i'm on my 3rd set on the rear and my second set on the front.
It has been pretty reasonable to run to be honest, no failiers at all so far, I've needed to replace a wheel due to buckling, but that was an unavoidable unseen pot holes fault, nothing to do with the product. insurance is pretty good, circa £620 for personal and full business use, fuel is the major cost, ave over the total milage is just over 21mpg and once the car got over 15k miles the mpg did improve quite noticeably, on a motorway run, keeping up with regular traffic (not blasting at 90+mph) it will give me 27mpg, running around its high teens, but if you mix it up each tank ave at around 22 now she's loose. I regularly get well over 300 miles to a tank if I throw some motorway miles in, if its just local that hurts it and I get around 290miles per tank.
a great car that i'll be keeping for a while yet.

Discounts only started in the last 9 months so anything early 15 or older would have been bought at close to list & thus base cars would have been near £80k.A 2013 car (which would be a late 2013 car) is 2.25-2.50 years old. I looked at the C7 RS6 when I got my F10 M5 in 2014 & the best Audi could offer was an S6. The discounts you state of 15% only came to play in the last 6 months.

Also that car's a highly spec'd motor. Prices are now aligning based on the discounts available. The guy from RS246 was given a trade bid of £55k, the dealer local to me probably paid something beginning with a 5 for that car too.

Hard to spend £60-65k on a used car even with some options when a brand new one can be bought with next to know lead time for £66k.

I had to take my son to a birthday party today which was a 40 min drive on some great country roads. The drive got me in RS 6 mode so I decided to go to Milton Keynes Audi which was about 20 mins away. All the sales people were busy as they had an "event" on but they had SIX new RS6's in stock! One on the showroom and five on display in the car park. Various specs trims and colours though every single one had red callipers, piano black inlays and privacy glass.
When I went to see Milton Keynes Audi on Sunday the sales people were all busy so I left my details saying I was interested in a new RS6. Have they a) Called me back keen as mustard as they have six new one's in stock.
b) Not called.

If you want to spec your own RS6 try carwow or orange wheels.co.uk - I ordered my car through them in November and will be picking it hopefully in a couple of weeks... Nice 15.2% discount and the service from both orange wheels and the supplying Audi dealer has been great. If you're content to go for one of the physical cars in stock you may not achieve quite as high a discount but you'll not have to wait 3 months... Annoying that MK sales team can't chase up on a potential sale, I'd personally shop elsewhere if they can't be arsed to call you back. Good luck with the search
