I have Goodyear Eagle F1 on the rear 255/35/R19 and chinese ones on the front (Thanks dealer) Its a 2010 car and I am in need of 4 new tyres, throwing the chinese ones away!

Local garage has recommending Vredistian Tyres but the have E C 70Db compared to C A 69db.

I am little concerned that the economy spec is E! They are saying that the Goodyear Tyres will not be in stock until the 25th of November! I will ring a few other garages tomorrow.

Any other recommendations? I do like the rim protector that you get on the Eagle F1's

Thanks

Uniroyal Rainsport 3 are a decent tyre, around £120 each fitted, they have a C A 73 rating, a little louder than the F1s.

I had them on my old Accord and they were good.

I have the same car, albeit a 2008. Having done some research into tyre recommendations on one of the Audi forums 18 months ago, I'm now on my second set of Barum Bravuris tyres. First set lasted c.24k miles and I've had no issues in terms of traction, noise, wear etc. and have been happy with them. Second set went on last month, bought online at Tyre Shopper with fitting done at the local National Tyres. At just under £100 each, they were quite a bit cheaper than the other options.

I was somewhat skeptical when before I bought the first set, however have been impressed.

I previously had the OEM Pirelli PZero Rosso (255/35/19) and this time have gone for Michelin Pilot Sport 3's. Cost around £600 fitted. I'm happy with the new tyres, except that my mpg has dropped slightly since fitting the Michelin's. They are meant to be more durable than the Pirelli's though.

Vredstein Ultrac Sessantas were my preferred tyre for my 3.0tdi Le Mans. Lasted longer than other brands I tried and were miles better when part worn than the Pirellis. 1db of noise will be unnoticeable

Interestingly I have Pirelli Pzero on my Evora of the same size but an MO compound and I really rate them apart for wear rates

I had Dunlop Sportmaxx on the 19s on my C6. Really quiet and great levels of grip, wet or dry. Wear was like rock erosion. I really liked them. They rated at 69dB.

The PZero Corsas on my C7, on 20s, are really noisy. Grip is amazing, especially in the wet, but on concrete surfaces the noise is tiring. They are listed as 73dB so over twice as loud as the Dunlops.

I run Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 19" on my A6 3.0TDi which is a Quattro (OE spec tyres I think) & they will need replacing next year but I will probably keep the same as they are very good all round tyres if expensive at a min £150 a piece. All sport focused tyres rate E or F for economy as the focus is mainly on grip & less on economy. It depends how you drive the car and what you want as to your preferences.

Coverseley on my A4 although I like Pirelli P Zeros I've struggled to find the correct load rating recently, so I recently swapped to your Goodyear F1 Eagle 2 all round and so far very impressed - not as aesthetic compared to the P Zero's, but they do offer more grip cornering at 8/10ths and quieter running if a similar price.
